He's developed a fierce rivalry with Yuugo Tani, though it's clear the respect runs deep on both sides. When Yuugo sat out of the Destroyal after his earlier fight with Hitomi, Taiga was genuinely let down—without Yuugo in the mix, the whole tournament felt hollow to him.
