Baru was a shinobi from the Uchiha clan who managed to awaken both the Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan relatively early in life—a rare feat even among his clanmates.
His most significant moment came during a brutal clash between rival shinobi groups. When an enemy trap decimated Rai Uchiha's squad, Rai sacrificed one of his own eyes to activate Izanagi and turn the tide. Seeing an opening, Baru challenged Rai for control of the group and killed him using the same forbidden technique. The victory was short-lived, though—he was killed by his own clansmen almost immediately after, apparently before he could even properly celebrate.
