Kemokemo first showed up in episode 48 when Natsu and Happy found an egg that literally fell from the sky and decided to hatch it themselves. They named it Kemokemo right then and there.
The weird thing about Kemokemo is that it just. grows. No food, no water—it doesn't need any of it. Natsu spent ages asking around trying to figure out what the hell this creature actually was, but nobody had answers. Even Kemokemo itself seemed confused about its own existence, wrestling with that existential question of what it even is. But honestly? It didn't really care. As long as it was around Natsu and happy, that was enough. The little guy was fiercely protective too, jumping in to defend Natsu from anything it saw as a threat.
