Akane
Akane is a researcher who became critically injured during a B-rank magician's escape—and she was apparently in on the whole thing. Before things went south, she handed Neko a package and gave her a mission that's basically impossible to ignore: save the world from total annihilation. Pretty heavy stuff for a package handoff, but that's how these things apparently work.
