Gena is a world-famous Poké Puff maker who appeared in the XY series episode "A Battle by Any Other Name!" She's best known for judging the Poké Puff Contest, where she served as chief juror.
During the preliminary round, Gena took the stage to announce results and share what Poké Puffs mean to her—before Bonnie interrupted her to propose that Gena marry Clemont. After Clemont quickly hauled his sister offstage, Gena continued with the announcements, sending Serena, Miette, and the Berrybaker kids through to the finals.
The next day, Gena returned to judge the final round. She described each finalist's creation before announcing the Berrybaker kids as the winners.
