Usagi is a manager character in PriPara, currently overseeing the idol team Dressing Pafé—which includes Shion, Dorothy, and Leona. He previously managed Sophie Hojo before moving on to his current roster.
He's the type who comes across as pretty laid-back on the surface, but his ambitions run deep. When he managed Sophie, he seemed genuinely proud of her accomplishments, though the reality was more calculated—he was really just using her success as a stepping stone toward becoming the top manager himself. His boastfulness became legendary among the other managers; he couldn't resist constantly bragging about how Sophie outclassed their idols. That same huge ego made him paranoid about Sophie's Fancy Mode ability becoming public knowledge, convinced it would somehow tank his reputation if word got out.
Once he brought Dressing Pafé under his management and they nailed their debut, the boasting ramped up immediately. He's just as proud of them, though whether it's genuine attachment or just his ego riding high is debatable.
One of his quirks is tacking "~usa" onto the end of his sentences, which he does consistently enough that fans definitely notice it.
