Ruby's a pink penguin who struck it rich running a massive floating casino. He's basically the stereotypical wealthy collector type—loves buying up rare treasures and showing off his fortune. That all changed when he realized Drew was using his money to fund some seriously evil stuff. Drew nearly killed him over it, but Haru stepped in and saved his life, which was enough to make Ruby switch sides and join the Rave Warriors.
He's got this weird quirk where he can't keep his mouth shut during battles. Whenever the group comes up with a plan, Ruby's blabbing it out to basically anyone within earshot, which predictably ruins everything. It's become kind of a running joke at this point.
On the upside, Ruby recently tapped into magic after his father gave him a bell. Turns out it's called the Holy Bell—an old weapon that originally belonged to Dalmatian from the Knights of the Blue Sky. The thing's actually versatile; it can shift into a magic sword and pull off moves like Magic Reflection, Twister, and Air Ball. Ruby's been using it mainly for Wind magic.
Oh, and he's apparently the only person who knows who would become the third Rave Master if something happened to Haru. He's keeping that one close to the chest.
