She's the star of Circus's acrobatic opening act—the kind of performer who commands attention without trying. Part of her appeal is that she doesn't play up to the crowd or flatter anyone; she just does the work, which somehow makes both guys and women respect her equally. There's something genuinely likable about her serious demeanor.
She grew up in one of the world's five strongest nations and has known Hirato since childhood. Years later, she ended up as his subordinate on the Second Ship, where she works as a fighter. Before joining Circus proper, she trained at a school with Kiichi, who's now her senpai—though she's held her own well enough alongside him.
Skilled acrobat, pretty strong despite looking delicate, and she carries one particular insecurity: she's self-conscious about her clumsy fingers. She'll occasionally mess up tasks that require fine motor control, which clearly bothers her more than it should. She hates cooking (even though she's actually decent at it) and despises sewing. Bugs freak her out—especially the fuzzy or many-legged varieties.
