Satellizer L. Bridget—usually just called Satella or Stella—is the story's main heroine and was the top-ranked second year until Kazuya's tournament interference bumped her down to number two. She's known for being ruthless in combat and feared across campus, largely because of her intense haphephobia—a fear of being touched that stems from childhood abuse at the hands of her half-brother Louis. Her reputation only solidified after she attacked a Limiter and other Pandoras at East Genetics, which got her suspended for a year and earning the nickname "Untouchable Queen" before transferring to West Genetics.
Despite all that, she's actually quiet and reserved once you get past the scary exterior. The weird thing? She doesn't freak out when Kazuya touches her. After initially pushing him away, she eventually accepts him as her Limiter—a pretty big deal given her condition.
Her birth was complicated. Her father, the head of the el Bridget family, had an affair with Noelle Allouache, and Satella was the result. To protect her from worsening her mother's already fragile health, young Satella suffered through years of abuse from Louis until her half-sister Violet stepped in and got her out. When her mother was dying, she made Satella promise never to give up and to become stronger than anyone. Those words became everything to her—the core of her determination.
Interestingly, Satella has a naturally low synchronization rate with stigmas, but she was implanted with six of them before even enrolling at Genetics, courtesy of her family's influence and borrowed from Kazuha Aoi.
