Reiko's basically the wealthy, glamorous counterpart to Nakagawa. She inherited serious money from European nobility on her mother's side, and her father runs the Akimoto Trading Zaibatsu out of Kobe—so she's got deep financial roots on both sides. Half French, raised in the States, she's fluent in multiple languages, which comes in handy for her double life juggling police work and high society obligations.
She works in the transportation department and drives a Porsche, naturally. Reiko's known for her striking appearance—blonde hair and a notably curvy figure that fans have noticed gets more pronounced as the series goes on, which she's been open about having enhanced through surgery. Despite constant attention from wealthy suitors and the rich and famous, she hasn't settled down with anyone. She's still looking for the right guy.
