Sandstorm (known as Cyclonus in English) is basically the unit's loose cannon—wild, unreliable, and kind of unhinged in a way that makes even his own teammates uncomfortable. He's not cautious or careful. Far from it.
His whole approach to combat is straightforward: charge in laughing maniacally with every gun he's got firing. Sometimes he yodels while doing it. The specifics don't matter much to him—he just loves the fight, the noise, the destruction. He's not picky about which side he's fighting for either, as long as there's something to shoot. Intelligence isn't his strong suit, but Megatron recognizes what matters: a soldier who'll charge into anything without hesitation or self-preservation instincts.
He works best alongside the Micron Cannon (Crumplezone in English), who got a real education in how entertaining reckless charges can be. The two genuinely click because they share an almost religious devotion to the simple pleasure of blowing things up. It's that shared enthusiasm that makes them effective partners despite their (or because of) how unbalanced they both are.
Later, after getting a new body, Sandstorm takes on the name Snowstorm.
