On the court, Sakusa comes across as composed and level-headed, but underneath that calm exterior he's intensely competitive and genuinely proud of his abilities.
What sets him apart as a player is how cautious and analytical he is—he'll actually study a toss before committing to a spike, thinking through his approach rather than just reacting. That same mentality carries over into his everyday life. He describes himself as a realist, which is probably why he's always asking questions and picking things apart; he needs to understand the full picture before he's comfortable moving forward.
Off the court, Sakusa's main quirk is being a total germaphobe.
