Ghutatan is an alien from the planet Ghatanothoa who ends up on Earth under Mahiro's care—basically he's stuck babysitting her. She's surprisingly childish for an extraterrestrial, which becomes pretty obvious in episode 11 when the Nyarlathotepian trio shows up chasing after Mahiro specifically to get to her. She's got a butler following her around named Roy Fooger, who's a Lloigor.
