Freed Sellzen is an exiled exorcist with a pretty straightforward philosophy: he kills Devils and humans who've made pacts with them, arguing they're too far gone to save anyway. He's wanted by the Vatican and has never been one for faith—he got into exorcism just to hunt monsters, not because of any religious conviction. He's basically a battle junkie who'd rather throw punches than think things through, which has made him equally despised by both exorcists and Devils. After the Orthodox Church booted him out, he threw in with the Fallen Angels and helped Raynare try to steal Asia's Sacred Gear.
