Sotatsu is a martial artist who's also a calligrapher—basically, he fights with a brush. He takes down Kuno so fast that Ranma decides he's worth fighting. The problem? Ranma's handwriting is absolutely terrible, which puts him at a real disadvantage against someone who uses calligraphy as a weapon.
