Normajean is a minor character from "The Brockster Is In!" (DP190), marking the final appearance of a character of the day in Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl.
She works as an apprentice at a Pokémon Day Care and was aboard a ship headed to Twinleaf Town, responsible for looking after a group of baby Pokémon: Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, Teddiursa, Azurill, Smoochum, and Wynaut. When her charges wandered toward Ash's group, she went looking for them and ended up introducing herself. She was thrilled to learn Brock was a Pokémon Breeder—turns out that's her specialty too.
Things got complicated when a bunch of Tentacruel invaded the ship after Team Rocket stole their bottle cap. The angry Tentacruel poisoned several Pokémon, including most of Normajean's babies. With no Nurse Joy around, Brock stepped up to help, trying various treatments that didn't quite work. The turning point came when Brock's Happiny evolved into Chansey and used Softboiled to heal the poisoned Pokémon. Normajean was grateful to Brock for saving the day.
