Masashi is one of Naota's classmates and hangs out regularly with him, Gaku, and Ninamori. Despite being only in grade school, he's got a job as a delivery boy and drives a truck around town—which is pretty wild for a kid his age. His truck eventually gets consumed by the terminal core after Mamimi loses control of it. Like Naota, Masashi has a somewhat depressed tone to his voice, which fits the generally melancholic vibe of the series.
