Kirschtaria comes from a thousand-year-old magi dynasty and heads the Wodime family. He studied at the Clock Tower's Astronomy Faculty, where he quickly became known as its brightest prospect. Marisbury Animusphere took him under his wing, and most people figured Kirschtaria was better positioned to lead than Marisbury's own daughter, Olga Marie. When Marisbury moved to Chaldea, Kirschtaria followed him and became one of forty-eight Master Candidates—and got bumped up to leader of the A-Team. He was planning to summon a Lancer-class Servant.
Things went south fast. During the initial Singularity Point F operation, Lev Lainur's betrayal caught everyone off guard. Kirschtaria ended up in cryofreeze like the rest of the A-Team.
That's when the Alien God found him. It resurrected Kirschtaria alone and made him its sole Crypter, filling him in on what had happened and what was coming for human history. But Kirschtaria saw the bigger picture—one person wasn't going to cut it. He asked the god to resurrect the other A-Team members too. The god warned him it would be expensive and that the others couldn't pay the bill themselves, but Kirschtaria decided to foot it. He covered the resurrection costs for all his fellow Crypters out of pocket.
When Goldolf, Koyanskaya, and Kirei Kotomine arrived at Chaldea, they found thirty-nine Masters waking up—but the A-Team coffins were empty. Someone had unfrozen them and replaced their signals with fakes.
Kirschtaria's next move was a broadcast to the remaining Chaldea staff. He announced himself as the Crypters' representative and declared that humanity's current history was fundamentally wrong. Earth needed to return to the Age of Gods.
