Usami is a Grade 1 sorcerer who appears in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, a story set in the year 2086, nearly 70 years after the events of the original manga. He serves as one of the instructors and supervisors for the new generation of jujutsu students, and he plays an important diplomatic role in the relations between humans and the Simurians.
He uses a form of Cursed Speech (Kotodama), which allows him to immobilize or neutralize high-level opponents. His past, origins, and the full extent of his abilities remain unknown.
