Huohuo is a young Foxian girl working as a Judge-in-training for the Ten-Lords Commission, which basically means she hunts ghosts and malevolent spirits for a living. The ironic part? She's terrified of them. What makes her situation worse is that she's literally cursed—a heliobus named Tail was sealed into her body by the Commission judges, which turned her into a curse magnet that attracts all kinds of supernatural beings. So naturally, she's stuck in this awful position where her job is to capture the very things that scare her most. She doesn't think she's capable of handling it and desperately wants to quit, but she can't quite bring herself to do it, so she just keeps going despite being absolutely terrified the whole time.
Visually, she's got shoulder-length sage green hair with white tips that look like a fox's tail, plus a noticeable cowlick. Her ears are folded (unusual for a Foxian) and her right one is clipped short. Her teal eyes are slightly droopy and have these distinctive white pupils shaped like paw prints with yellow accents. She's got dark circles that really sell the whole stressed-out vibe.
Her outfit is pretty intricate—a green and white cloud-patterned cheongsam top with detached white sleeves that have gold cuffs, paired with beige shorts and a dark blue knee-length coat lined in gold. She wears asymmetrical white leg warmers with green tassels, white socks, and dark green heeled flats. Her hat is dark blue and puffy with gold ornaments and a small yellow flag, and an I-Ching fire hexagram sits on the front.
About that tail situation: she originally had one like all Foxians, but it got consumed when she took in the dying heliobus Tail. Now when Tail's attached to her, he manifests as a puffy cyan and fiery tail-like shape. When he's not with her, a large X-shaped seal talisman (placed there by Hanya) covers where her tail used to be.
