Saigo Volvo is a former US Navy green beret with serious combat credentials. After his military days, he's carried some quirks that probably come with the territory—he's hypervigilant to the point of jumping at small sounds, anything from tapping glass to someone plucking nose hairs. It's clearly a holdover from his service.
