Zakos is a martial artist who competes in the tournament circuit. He's probably best known for being the guy who has to explain the tournament rules to Saitama—awkward timing, since Saitama's not exactly the type to care about formalities. Their match itself didn't go great for Zakos. He got completely outmatched and left looking pretty rough.
When he later crossed paths with the monster association, Zakos refused to let them turn him into one of their creatures, which. didn't work out well for him. He got badly beaten for his defiance.
