Android 17 is a character from Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball franchise who shows up across the manga, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Super. He's best known as the cyborg twin of Android 18, both created by Dr. Gero from human bodies. Originally human himself, 17 was transformed into a cyborg—hence the "Android" designation. He makes a major comeback in Dragon Ball Super as one of Universe 7's ten fighters in the Tournament of Power.
