Seigi Chojin is best known as the main protagonist of Kinnikuman, a character whose humble origin story is equal parts tragic and absurd. Born April 1, 1960, to King Mayumi and Queen Sayuri of Planet Kinniku, Suguru Kinniku was so comically unattractive as a child that his own father seriously considered killing him on sight. When the royal family vacationed on Earth, a pig somehow ended up in Suguru's cradle—and Mayumi, unable to tell the difference, literally threw his own son out of the ship. Left stranded on Earth as an infant, Suguru basically raised himself, built a one-room house, and flunked out of school before giving up on his Ultraman dreams entirely. Instead, he became president of the Gyuudon Lovers Club.
What makes Suguru interesting, though, is his hidden potential. His most famous ability is his "burning inner strength"—an almost supernatural fire that lets him grow stronger through battle and has apparently terrified five evil gods throughout history. Beyond that, he can tap into other powers unique to the Kinniku royal line: removing his mask unleashes a purification or healing effect, he's capable of flight, and he can grow to giant size. Fans often note that this is probably why members of the Kinniku clan are forbidden from showing their true faces. The manga eventually identified this ability as "Face Flash," a power inherent to all Kinniku clanspeople.
