Beast Wars II Movie
Between the first and second seasons of Beast Wars, Japan produced Beast Wars II to fill the gap—which included a feature film called "Lio Convoy is in Imminent Danger!" The Predacons stumble onto a mysterious transwarp device and use it to summon Majin Zarak, a monstrous demon from Cybertron's past. The Maximals counter by pulling Optimus Primal (called "Convoy" in the Japanese version) from prehistoric Earth before he'd ever become a transmetal. Primal teams up with their leader Lio Convoy to take down the threat. The two combine their Matrix powers, transform into "Flash Lio Convoy" and "Burning Convoy," hit Majin Zarak's weak spot, and destroy him. Primal then heads back to Earth.
This movie doesn't fit with the English Beast Wars continuity—most noticeably, it shows Primal wielding the Autobot Matrix of Leadership, something that never happens in the western storyline.
