Somali's a first-year student with superhuman strength and an easygoing personality that makes her genuinely likable. She and Aby went through bullying together back in the day, which shaped how she sees herself now—she's determined to become a prefect partly because of that shared trauma, and she'll follow Aby's lead without question, even when his methods get sketchy. She's genuinely invested in him and wants to become the kind of woman he'd respect, which sometimes means doing things she's not entirely comfortable with.
What sets her apart from a lot of the other White Cats is that she doesn't look down on the Black Dogs the way her classmates do. She's also perceptive enough to have picked up on whatever's actually going on between Romio and Juliet, even if she keeps it to herself.
