Pandor is a humanoid AI created by the Knights of Hanoi specifically to fight the Ignis. What sets Pandor apart from the Ignis—who operate with unrestricted autonomy—is a built-in limitation on their free will. The system automatically erases any thoughts that would lead Pandor to view humans as enemies, essentially preventing them from turning against their creators or humanity at large. This safety measure was crucial to the Knights' plans, since an uncontrolled AI capable of independent thought could've become as much of a threat as the Ignis themselves.
