A classmate of Myung's who doesn't take things seriously. In a flashback, when he spots Myung, he casually jokes about being jealous and says he'll puncture his own lung too—making light of Myung's actual illness. Years later at their school reunion, he shows up with a woman he introduces to Seon-ho, suggesting he's moved on with his life while catching up with old friends.
