Makki's a few years younger than Takahiro, and yeah, she's got feelings for him—which made her pretty jealous of Alpha at first. But once she understood that Alpha, being an immortal robot, could never actually be with Takahiro the way a human could, things shifted. The two of them ended up getting close after that. Makki wasn't totally convinced by Takahiro's wild stories about the Misago until she came face-to-face with the woman herself.
As a teenager, Makki worked at Alpha's café for a bit, though that wasn't a permanent gig. She moved on to work as a courier for Kokone's company, which suited her better. Eventually she and Takahiro settled down together in Hamamatsu.
