Naive and easily embarrassed, he quickly falls victim to Takagi-san's teasing, but his constant failure hasn't broken his drive to get back at her one day.
Though he dedicates considerable effort to devising plans to beat Takagi-san, his training and scheming never seem to achieve anything, and Takagi-san always appears to be one step ahead of him in every challenge he presents her with.
