Kyoma's the kind of upperclassman who comes across as distant and hard to approach. Between his intimidating glare and sharp tongue, most students are genuinely scared of him—and honestly, he doesn't seem bothered by the reputation. Despite the harsh words (occasionally escalating to full yelling), he's actually got a decent heart underneath it all, which makes him one of those misunderstood loner types fans can't help but sympathize with.
He's pretty much a textbook tsundere, though there's one thing that's unironically serious business for him: milk. He genuinely loves it.
His whole vibe is a result of his first year being completely different. Back then, he'd tackle everything with genuine enthusiasm and a smile, so people actually liked him. But he got stabbed in the back by people he trusted as friends, and that betrayal basically broke something. It's what led to him transferring to Mikagura and building up the cold, unapproachable exterior he's known for now.
