He's technically Maria's creation, though his origins are a bit tangled. Artemis originally found him as an owl, and Maria later transformed him into what he is now. The whole thing came with an awkward complication—Maria intended to make him male but straight-up forgot to give him the equipment, mostly because she's genuinely clueless about how male anatomy actually works. He's definitely not thrilled about it.
Day-to-day, he's the one handling most of the cooking at Maria's cottage. He's basically taken on the domestic role without much fanfare.
