Orion is a spirit who crashes into the Heroine's life—literally—and wipes her memory clean. He's stuck bound to her after that collision, and the only way to break free is by helping her recover what she's lost. The catch is that he can't actually touch anything or anyone in the physical world, which makes his situation pretty frustrating. He can't interact with people directly, and he definitely can't grab hold of the Heroine. What he can do is share a sensory link with her, which means he feels everything she does—her pain, her emotions, the whole deal. It's an intimate connection whether either of them likes it or not.
