Atsui is a shinobi from Kumogakure with a reputation for being hot-headed and aggressive in combat—pretty much the opposite of his sister Samui in terms of personality. He's all about direct confrontation and doesn't really bother with tactical support, which sometimes leaves him exposed. He's also notorious for constantly using the word "hot" and freely admits he's made up a bunch of "hot-shot" catchphrases.
Like most Kumogakure shinobi, Atsui is a skilled swordsman. His main weapon is a long white katana, which he pairs with Fire Release techniques. By channeling chakra through the blade, he can torch multiple opponents in one go. The anime shows he can generate flames with every swing, making the weapon even more devastating.
