Arthur is best known as a member of Vali Team within the Khaos Brigade. He's a direct descendant of King Arthur, which makes him a natural-born Holy Sword wielder—a rare advantage that's basically hardwired into his bloodline.
He comes from the noble House of Pendragon, an entire lineage built around King Arthur's legacy. At some point, Arthur decided the family life wasn't for him. He grabbed the Holy King Sword Excalibur Ruler and bounced, joining up with the Khaos Brigade to hunt down increasingly powerful opponents. It's pretty clear he was after worthy fights more than anything else.
He didn't start with Vali Team, though. Arthur originally ran with the Hero Faction side of the Khaos Brigade, where he developed a rivalry with Siegfried. Eventually he switched teams, moving over to Vali Team alongside his younger sister Le Fay Pendragon, who came with him.
