V.V. is an immortal boy with flowing blond hair and one of the series' main antagonists. He's Charles Zi Britannia's older twin brother, though immortality has left him looking like a child while Charles aged normally. The contrast is pretty striking—V.V.'s chronologically in his early sixties but trapped in a ten-year-old's body and mindset, which makes him essentially a sadistic man-child. He gets genuine, unsettling pleasure from the chaos and suffering he creates.
The Geass connection runs deep through his character. V.V. can grant Geass contracts just like C.C., and he's responsible for giving Geass powers to both Charles and Rolo Lamperouge. He eventually took over as leader of the Geass Directorate, the shadowy organization behind Geass research and user development, succeeding C.C. in that role. The group also operates the Pluton alongside Oiaguro Zevon.
His immortality came through a Geass contract, binding him to his power indefinitely—and to his arrested development as a consequence.
