A third-year student and commander of the Swords of Salvation, the school's elite anti-Metaphysical fighting unit. He's known for recruiting talented fighters to his team—he brought Moroha in after witnessing his combat abilities firsthand, and was genuinely intrigued rather than bitter about the fact that Moroha had fought and beaten his own brother. Later, he added Urushibara to the roster on the recommendation of her brother, who happens to be the school president, and eventually recruited Ranjou after seeing the kid display real courage against a Hydra-class Metaphysical, despite being badly outmatched.
