Lassic works as a mage under contract to one of Siluca's upperclassmen at college. He's got this deceptively soft appearance that makes him seem kind of laid-back and easygoing, but don't let that fool you—he's genuinely talented at magic and surprisingly skilled with a sword. He manages to pull off being both a top-tier mage and a legitimate swordsman, which isn't exactly common.
