Hedoro's one of those characters who really grew on fans despite—or maybe because of—his whole aesthetic clash. Yeah, he's genuinely ugly, let's be honest about that. But slap a cheerful flower on top of his head and suddenly he's charming in this weird, endearing way. The flower thing is kind of his whole personality trait, which tracks with how much he loves nature.
He actually became pretty tight with the Yoruzuya crew, which was unexpected considering he's, well, a monster. But that's kind of the point—he ended up being one of the good ones, and fans appreciated that the story didn't treat him as some disposable side character.
