Lotton, nicknamed "The Wizard," is a bounty hunter hired to track down "Greenback" Jane. He's got an unmistakable look—gray hair, dark sunglasses, a black trench coat—and speaks in an oddly gentle voice that doesn't match his profession. He carries one or more Mauser C96s with extended magazines, though whether they're genuine or knockoffs is unclear. He doesn't drink alcohol; he claims it makes him sick.
Best known for his dramatic flair, Lotton tries to pull off a fancy entrance during the hunt but gets shot by Revy before he can even finish. He comes across as more showboating than skilled, though his actual abilities remain debatable. He did manage to survive a fall from a warehouse roof thanks to his Kevlar vest after taking a hit, so there's at least something to his survival instincts.
He's one of the rare bounty hunters who actually makes it out of the Jane manhunt alive. When the fighting spills into the ocean, he gets back on his feet and helps Shenhua and Sawyer, who are both badly wounded. This unexpected mercy surprises Shenhua enough that she suggests he'd be better suited working the door at a brothel than doing what he does. Lotton insists he's too clumsy for that kind of work, which is probably the most honest thing he says about himself.
