Jinta Hanakari is a small, red-haired kid who's supposed to handle chores around the shop—cleaning and other manual labor—but mostly just avoids work and leaves everything to Ururu instead. He bullies her constantly, though he clearly cares about her; when an arrancar injures her, he's the one who recovers her body. He's smarter than his young appearance suggests, but still acts like a total kid—he's called Renji a "moocher" and when Ichigo was incapacitated and transforming into a hollow, Jinta spent the time teasing him and spitting on him, which tells you something about his sense of humor. He's clearly got a crush on Yuzu Kurosaki; he calls her "The Goddess" and treats anything she gives him like it's sacred. In combat, he wields an oversized iron rod similar to a tetsubo.
