Main Character Overview
He's basically your standard powerless everyman—the kind of guy who gets pushed around and has nothing special going for him. His life was pretty unremarkable until things got weird. Turns out Ayaka has been quietly running interference for him this whole time, protecting him from these supernatural enemies called the Tower Witches. Once the truth came out, she became his constant shadow, following him everywhere and running defense against her own obsessive fan club members who liked messing with him.
At some point he convinced Ayaka to teach him magic, though she wasn't thrilled about it. She's been training him since then.
The real reason everyone's watching out for him is because of something inside him—they call it the "White Stuff." Kagari and the Workshop Witches are basically his bodyguards now, keeping the Tower Witches at bay specifically because of whatever that is. So while he started out as nobody special, turns out there's something worth protecting after all.
