Nationality: Egypt
Pharaoh was one of Hades' star players—a Specter who guarded the second prison in hell and impressed everyone with his skill on the Demon Harp. That changed when Orpheé, a Saint and warrior of Athena, showed up trying to rescue someone he loved. Pandora ordered Pharaoh to mess with the Saint and trap him in the underworld forever, but the plan worked too well: Orpheé became Hades' new favorite musician instead, and Pharaoh got seriously bitter about it.
He spent years plotting to get back on top. When the Bronze Saints Pegasus and Andromeda made it to his prison, Pharaoh threw his guardian beast Cerberus at them, which didn't do much. Then Orpheé himself showed up, knocked the Bronze Saints out, and claimed he'd dispose of them—but Pharaoh didn't buy it. He tailed the Saint to confirm his suspicion, and sure enough, Orpheé let them live.
That gave Pharaoh the opening he'd been waiting for. In a moment of triumph, he couldn't resist bragging that he was the one who'd originally tricked Orpheé all those years ago. Big mistake. Orpheé lost it, and the two of them went at it in a brutal clash of lethal music. Sphinx Pharaoh didn't walk away from that one.
