Minatsu's the Student Council Vice President and basically the epitome of a tomboy—athletic, confident, and surprisingly solid at math (Ken finds this weirdly out of character for her). She's popular with other girls, partly because of that bold personality. She's a huge shōnen manga fan, so her advice and ideas tend to pull straight from typical battle manga playbooks.
She's classmates with Ken and is in love with him, though she's a total tsundere about it. Their meeting happened over summer and left a real impression on him—he ended up looking up to her and wanting to be more like her. Being around someone so fired up and action-oriented taught him that you actually have to put in the work if you want something.
Her protectiveness is intense, especially when it comes to her little sister Mafuyu. Anyone who tries to mess with Mafuyu gets the full force of her disdain. Like the season her name suggests, she's constantly energized and ready to jump into action, particularly if manga or anime are on the table.
