Her personality mirrors Sesshomaru's in many ways—cool and composed—though she has a playful streak he seems to lack. She lectures him about what the Tenseiga really demands from its wielder: compassion, love, a pure heart. It hints that she still has feelings for her late mate, rather than any lingering resentment.
Before his death, the Inu no Taishou gave her the Meidou Stone as a test for Sesshomaru, warning her that using it would put their son in grave danger. She lives in a large castle in the Western lands.
