Keek works for the Magical Kingdom, and she's the type who gets really invested in things—probably too invested, honestly. She has this idealistic view of magical girls as inherently pure and noble, which puts her at odds with how the kingdom normally operates. Despite pushback from her superiors, she decides to dig into the files of previous magical girl candidates and figure out if they actually deserved the job.
To pull this off, she teams up with Fal, a mascot she's had specially modified for her purposes. Together they build an RPG-style simulation that tests candidates on practical stuff like how well they work with others and whether they actually have a strong moral compass. It's basically her way of trying to make sure the right girls are chosen for the role, even if the kingdom isn't thrilled about her doing it her own way.
