Nikaidou runs the Hungry Bug, a family restaurant tucked away in The Hole, and she's Kaiman's closest companion. She was there when he first transformed into his current form and took him under her wing, basically becoming his anchor to normalcy. Since then, the two of them have made a habit of tracking down magic users who slip into The Hole—not always friendly encounters—while keeping their real goal in mind: finding whoever turned Kaiman into what he is now.
