Shinichi's closest friend and occasional partner throughout the series. Their relationship gradually becomes romantic, though it's complicated—Shinichi constantly wrestles with anxiety about what he's becoming, while Satomi struggles with his secrecy and the unpredictable emotional fallout from everything he's dealing with.
