B Cells
B cells (or B lymphocytes) are immune cells that fight off viruses and bacteria by producing antibodies. The thing is, they need to make the right antibodies for the job—if they produce the wrong type, they're pretty much useless. The key to their effectiveness is generating antibodies that are specifically tailored to whatever invader they're up against.
