Collei is a trainee Forest Ranger under Tighnari's mentorship in the Avidya Forest. She's best known as one of the main characters in Genshin's official manga, though her story is much darker than her current cheerful demeanor suggests.
She had a rough start in life. Originally a victim of Fatui human experimentation that left her afflicted with Eleazar, she spent years wandering as a vagrant until meeting Amber in Mondstadt. That chance encounter changed everything—she's since rebuilt her life from the ground up and found her place with the Forest Rangers. She started her training a bit later than most, so she's been pushing hard to catch up with her peers.
Despite her optimism and kindness, there's another side to her personality that she keeps carefully hidden. Fans often note the contrast between her cheerful exterior and whatever she's processing underneath.
